Lanjutkan Safari ke Al Jariyah, Rektor Titip Mahasiswa UIR ke Jemaah Masjid

PEKANBARU:PESISIRNASIONAL.COM  Usai bersilaturrahmi ke Masjid An Naba pekan lalu, Rektor Universitas Islam Riau kembali melanjutkan safari Ramadhan hari kedua di Masjid Al Jariyah Jalan Kaharuddin Nasution Kelurahan Maharatu Kecamatan Marpoyan Damai Kota Pekanbaru. Kepada Jemaah masjid, Wakil Rektor Bidang Akademik Dr H Syafhendry Rusli menitipkan mahasiswa UIR kepada jemaah.

”Kami sangat yakin, di sekitaran masjid ini banyak berdiam mahasiswa UIR. Sebagai Pimpinan kampus, kami tak mampu mengontrol kehidupan harian mereka. Karena itu kami titip kepada jemaah, tolong mereka diingatkan, diajari dan dinasehati bila ada perkataan dan perbuatan mereka yang tidak senafas dengan nilai-nilai agama, kesopanan dan kebiasaan masyarakat,” kata Syafhendry berpesan.

Safari Ramadhan jajaran Rektorat Universitas Islam Riau pada Rabu malam (16/5) disambut gembira oleh pengurus dan jemaah. Dalam silaturrahmi itu Syafhendry didampingi Wakil Rektor II Ir H Asrol, MSi dan Wakil Rektor III Ir H Rosyadi, MSi. Turut pula Kepala BAUP H Zakir Has, Kepala Biro Keuangan Dr Azwirman, Kepala BAAK Akmar Efendi, SKom, MKom, Kepala dan Sekretaris LDIK Dr Zulhelmy dan Afrizal Anton Candra SAg, MSi, Kepala dan Sekretaris BPPA Dr Thamrin S dan Fahridar Hasibuan, SH, Kepala BHE Dr Ardiansyah, SH, MH dan Kepala Bagian Humas Dr H Syafriadi, SH, MH.

Syafhendry juga berharap kepada takmir dan jemaah Al Jariyah agar dapat memberdayakan mahasiswa UIR dalam kegiatan-kegiatan keagamaan sehingga
integritas dan kepribadian mahasiswa UIR tumbuh menjadi generasi qur’ani yang tangguh. ”Pak Rektor Prof Syafrinaldi titip salam kepada jemaah. Beliau sedang dinas keluar kota dan tak bisa hadir bersama kami di sini. Yang pasti kami sangat senang bisa bersilaturrahmi dengan jemaah masjid yang letaknya tak jauh dari kampus UIR. Mari kita jadikan Ramadhan sebagai momentun penting menjalin silaturrahim,”lanjut Syafhendry.

Usai menitipkan pesan, Syafhendry bersama Wakil-wakil Rektor menyerahkan bantuan dana untuk pembangunan masjid sebesar Rp 3 juta. Juga al Qur’an untuk bertadarrus. ”Masjid ini sudah bagus. Nyaman beribadah karena ber-Ac, hambalnya juga tebal. Bersih, dan kami sangat senang beribadah di sini. Silakan dimanfaatkan bantuan ini untuk pembangunan masjid,” ujar Syafhendry.

Sekretaris LDIK Afrizal Anton Candra yang bertindak selaku penceramah Ramadhan mengajak jemaah memanfaatkan kemuliaan Ramadhan. Tidak saja dengan melaksanakan ibadah puasa tetapi juga mengerjakan amal-amal lain dengan iman dan taqwa. Mereka yang mampu mendapatkan kemuliaan Ramadhan, kata Ustadz Anton, dijanjikan Allah diampuni segala dosa-dosanya. Selepas Ramadhan, ia tampil seperti anak yang baru lahir dari rahim ibunya. Suci dan bersih.

Mengutip QS Al Baqarah 183, kandidat Doktor UIN Susqa ini menyebutkan, sasaran akhir dari puasa Ramadhan adalah taqwa. Hanya orang-orang yang berimanlah yang mampu meraih derjat ketaqwaan. Karena itu, di pangkal ayat Al Baqarah Allah tegas memanggil orang-orang beriman untuk melaksanakan puasa Ramadhan. ”Hai orang-orang yang beriman diwajibkan atas kamu berpuasa sebagaimana diwajibkan atas orang-orang sebelum kamu agar kamu bertaqwa,” tegas Dosen Fakultas Hukum UIR ini.*
