Jokowi Rangkul Beberapa Tokoh Agama, Pengamat: Untuk Menutupi Kelemahan

JAKARTA,Pesisirnasional.com- Masuknya sejumlah tokoh agama dalam Tim Kampanye Nasional pasangan capres cawapres Joko Widodo-KH Ma’ruf Amin (Jokowi-Ma’ruf), dinilai sebagai bentuk strategi politik. Cara ini digunakan untuk menutup kelemahan Jokowi dipersepsikan tidak ramah dengan umat Islam.

“Ulama menjadi cawapres, juga tokoh agama yang dimasukkan ke dalam timses, saya pikir itu bagian dari strategi politik untuk mengisi atau menutupi titik lemahnya Jokowi,” kata Pengamat Politik dari Universitas Indonesia Hurriyah, Ahad (2/9).

Dilansir oleh Republika, Hurriyah menyebutkan, Jokowi selama ini memiliki citra yang tidak ramah dengan umat Muslim. Alasannya karena banyak berita atau informasi negatif yang mengesankan Jokowi tidak dekat dengan para ulama maupun kelompok Muslim. Itulah sebabnya, lanjut dia, setahun terakhir ini Jokowi berusaha mendekati umat Muslim seperti menyambangi pesantren yang dilakukan beberapa waktu lalu.

Selain itu, Hurriyah mengatakan, partai politik memiliki kepentingan untuk mendulang suara sebanyak-banyaknya bagi pasangan capres-cawapres yang diusungnya. Salah satunya, kata dia, dengan menggaet tokoh yang memiliki potensi sebagai pendulang suara dan mempunyai basis massa pendukung termasuk tokoh agama.

“Jadi siapapun yang dianggap punya potensi, punya massa yang banyak dan bisa mempengaruhi massa,” katanya.

Hurriyah menilai, tim kampanye menganggap tokoh agama atau figur ulama sebagai sosok penting dalam meraup suara pemilih. Khususnya, kelompok muslim yang merupakan salah satu ceruk suara pemilih terbesar di Indonesia.

“Pada akhirnya (tokoh agama) dianggap menjadi sosok yang penting untuk meraih dukungan publik terutama pemilih muslim karena memang pemilih muslim ini kan ceruk suaranya sangat besar di Indonesia,” tutur Hurriyah.

Menurut Hurriyah, budaya politik di Indonesia masih berdasarkan pengaruh para elite termasuk tokoh agama. Sehingga walaupun tidak seratus persen, lanjut dia, pendukungnya pun akan turut memilih sesuai pilihan tokoh agama tersebut.

“Ketika seorang ulama atau tokoh agama kemudian dia masuk ke timses manapun sebenarnya, orang akan melihat ‘oh ulama saya, ustaz saya ini mendukung si ini.’ Jadi secara otomatis pendukungnya itu akan mendukung walaupun tidak seratus persen,” papar Hurriyah.

Sejumlah tokoh agama diberitakan masuk ke dalam tim kampanye Jokowi-Ma’ruf. Salah satunya, nama tokoh agama yang paling baru disebut ialah Ustaz Yusuf Mansur. Masuknya penceramah itu ke dalam Tim Kampanye Nasional (TKN) dikonfirmasi langsung bakal cawapres Ma’ruf Amin.

Namun, di lain kesempatan, Yusuf Mansur mengaku lebih menginginkan posisi di tidak memihak ke salah satu kubu. Saat disinggung kesediannya apabila ditawari bergabung ke salah satu pasangan calon, Yusuf Mansur enggan menjelaskan secara tegas.

“Kalau bilang tidak akan kan tidak boleh. Kesannya kan kayak ngeduluin. Gimana ntarnya dah,” ujarnya seraya tertawa kepada wartawan usai melaksanakan shalat Jumat di Masjid At-Taqwa, Kebayoran Baru, Jakarta, Jumat (31/8). (rci/red)
