Kemenpora Klaim Persiapan Indonesia ke Olimpiade 2020 Lebih Baik Daripada ke Rio

JAKARTA, PesisirNasional – Olimpiade 2020 Tokyo kurang dari 500 hari. Kemenpora memastikan persiapan Indonesia menuju pesta olahraga sejagat tahun depan itu lebih sip ketimbang ke Rio de Janeiro.

Kemenpora menyiapkan dana sebesar Rp 500 miliar untuk kualifikasi Olimpiade 2020 di tahun ini dan SEA Games 2019 Filipina. Dana itu diserahkan kepada cabang olahraga di muka, tidak lagi dicicil.

Sekretaris Kemenpora, Gatot S. Dewa Broto, menjamin aturan itu digunakan lagi berkaca pada sukses Asian Games 2018. Selain itu, ada dua aspek lain yang lebih mendukung prestasi Indonesia ketimbang persiapan ke Olimpiade 2016 Rio.

“Dasar pertama adalah sukses Asian Games kemarin, Itu percepatan peningkatan prestasi atlet luar biasa. Dulu Asian Games 2014 itu peringkatnya 17 hanya empat medali emas itu sangat berpengaruh kepada Olimpiade Rio. Belum lagi kita melewati SEA Games 2015 dan prestasi tak bagus,” kata Gatot yang dihubungi detikSport, Kamis (14/3).

“Saya masih ingat, karena dulu kami masih menggunakan model Satlak Prima, (pencairan dana) bertahap. Berbeda dengan sekarang digelontorkan di depan, tapi dengan rambu-rambu. (Terbukti) dampak penggelontoran anggaran signifikan makanya jarang ada pemberitaan keterlambatan. Beda dengan 2017. Jadi, ada jalur yang dipangkas,” dia menjelaskan.

“Sistem cluster ini sebenarnya semacam reward and punishment kepada cabor. Jika berprestasi dimasukkan cluster pertama, jika tidak cluster tiga dan empat. Juga soal venue yang dulu banyak dikeluhkan, sekarang sudah tidak bisa lagi. Semua sudah lengkap bekas Asian Games,” ujar dia.
