Peluang Indonesia Raih Emas Hari Ini dari Empat Cabor

JAKARTA,Pesisirnasional.com- Para duta olahraga Indonesia berpeluang melanjutkan panen medali emas pada hari ke-10 perhelatan Asian Games 2018 di Jakarta dan Palembang, Selasa (28/8). Kemarin, Indonesia mendulang sepuluh emas dari pencak silat dan panjat tebing.

Dari 12 cabang olahraga yang menggelar nomor final dengan menyediakan 29 medali emas, atlet-atlet Indonesia berupaya mengejar tambahan emas dari panahan, bulu tangkis, sepak takraw, dan bola voli pantai. Dari empat cabang olahraga itu, tuan rumah meloloskan wakilnya, yakni panahan, voli pantai dan sepak takraw masing-masing satu nomor, serta bulu tangkis ada dua nomor.

Khusus bulu tangkis, Indonesia sudah memastikan satu medali emas dari nomor ganda putra setelah terjadi “All Indonesian Final” yang mempertemukan pasangan Marcus Gideon/Kevin Sanjaya dengan Fajar Alfian/Rian Ardianto. Satu partai final lagi di tunggal putra, Jonathan “Jojo” Christie akan menantang pebulu tangkis unggulan asal Chinese Taipei Chou Tienchen.

Jojo menjadi harapan cabang olahraga bulu tangkis untuk merealisasikan target dua emas, setelah pasangan Tontowi Ahmad/Liliyana Natsir yang diandalkan PB PBSI terhenti di babak semifinal. “Saya tidak menyangka bisa ke final,” kata Jojo, pebulu tangkis berperingkat 15 dunia itu.

Anthony Sinisuka Ginting juga berharap Jojo bisa menang. “Semoga Jonathan bisa bermain bagus. Kita masyarakat Indonesia pasti dukung Jonatan untuk meraih medali emas,” ujarnya. Ginting yang mengalami kram kaki saat final beregu putra melawan tim Cina, gagal ke final.

Dari arena panahan yang melombakan empat nomor final, Indonesia hanya diwakili Diananda Choirunisa di nomor recurve perorangan putri. Pemanah asal Surabaya, Jawa Timur, itu, akan beradu jitu dengan Zhang Xinyan (Cina) dalam membidikkan anak panah ke sasaran untuk memperebutkan medali emas.

“Saya kira siapa pun yang lolos final merupakan atlet yang punya potensi merebut emas. Saya akan berusaha fokus untuk mempersembahkan medali emas bagi kontingen Indonesia,” kata Diananda.

Pelatih tim panahan Indonesia Denny Trisjanto mengatakan tekanan saat berlaga di babak final jauh lebih berat, tetapi ia optimistis Diananda sangat siap, termasuk dari segi mental tanding. “Semoga Diananda mampu menjaga itu,” ujarnya.

Upaya mengejar target medali emas juga berlangsung dari arena voli pantai yang mempertandingkan final putra di Jakabaring Sport City, Palembang, Sumatera Selatan. Pasangan Ade Chandra Rachmawan/Mohammad Ashfiya akan menghadapi wakil Qatar, Ahmed Janko/Cherif Samba. Chandra/Ashfiya menjadi peluang terakhir bagi Indonesia untuk meraih medali emas voli pantai, setelah di kelompok putri mendapatkan medali perunggu.

Sedangkan dari sepak takraw yang mempertandingkan final nomor regu putra, tim Indonesia akan ditantang tim Negeri Jiran Malaysia. Tuan rumah berupaya mengejar medali emas pertama dari cabang olahraga yang banyak dimainkan wilayah Asia Tenggara ini.

Hingga menyelesaikan pertandingan hari ke-9 pada Senin (27/8), kontingen Indonesia sudah mengemas 22 medali emas, 15 perak dan 27 perunggu dengan menempati peringkat keempat. Jumlah medali emas itu melampaui target 16 keping yang dicanangkan.

Saat konferensi pers, Senin (27/8) sore, Imam Nahrawi menyampaikan ucapan terima kasih kepada masyarakat Indonesia yang telah memberikan dukungan dan doa kepada atlet-atlet Indonesia di arena Asian Games 2018. Menurut ia, hasil yang diraih pada pesta olahraga terbesar di Asia ini merupakan pencapaian luar biasa dari seluruh atlet yang berjuang sekuat tenaga dan totalitas membawa nama harum bangsa Indonesia di mata internasional.

“Prestasi raihan medali emas di Asian Games 2018 ini sangat bersejarah dan terbanyak sepanjang Indonesia mengikuti ajang ini,” tambahnya. (rci/red)
