Lelang Teknologi SLFF Jalan Tol Akhir 2019

JAKARTA,PesisirNasional- Pengadaan teknologi transaksi di gerbang tol tanpa henti atau Single Lane Free Flow (SLFF) ditargetkan dapat dilaksanakan paling lambat akhir tahun 2019.

Saat ini uji coba atas teknologi tersebut masih terus dilakukan guna mengetahui sejauh mana efektivitas serta keandalan teknologi yang digunakan.

“Targetnya Pak Menteri agar tahun ini kita bisa menetapkan skema pengadaannya,” ucap Kepala Badan Pengatur Jalan Tol ( BPJT) Danang Parikesit di Jakarta, Kamis (29/3/2019).

Ada dua teknologi yang kini tengah diuji coba yaitu Dedicated Short Range Communication (DSRC) oleh PT Marga Mandalasakti (MMS), anak usaha PT Astra Infra Toll Road, dan Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) oleh PT Jasa Marga Tbk.

Perbedaan mendasar dari keduanya yaitu DSRC memungkinkan penyimpanan data atau identitas kendaraan di dalam alat yang diletakkan pada kendaraan atau On Board Unit (OBU).

Sementara RFID menggunakan stiker barcode yang ditempelkan pada lampu kendaraan.

“Nanti kita bandingkan inisiatif yang dilakukan JSMR maupun Astra untuk mencari yang paling baik. Mereka berjanji (uji coba) 6-8 bulan selesai,” kata Danang.

Setelah proses uji coba selesai, pemerintah akan membentuk kelompok kerja yang berisi anggota BPJT dengan badan usaha jalan tol guna mengkaji teknologi mana yang paling baik untuk digunakan.

Menurut Danang, saat ini yang terpenting bukan pada teknologi apa yang digunakan. Melainkan, teknologi mana yang memberikan output terbaik, baik dari segi kecepatan transaksi maupun kegagalan transaksi yang paling minimal.

“Teknologi mana yang bisa mengurangi kegagalan transaksi di gate itulah yang akan kita pakai. Yang penting kinerja transaksi dan pengambilan data itu sesuai dengan kebutuhan,” tutup dia.
