Ini Alasan Polda Riau Pulangkan Neno Warisman

PESISIR NASIONAL, PEKANBARU- Pihak Kepolisian Daerah (Polda) Riau akhirnya memulangkan Neno Warisman setelah sempat tertahan dari Sabtu (25/8) sore hingga malam. Polda Riau menyatakan bahwa pemulangan Neno dari Bandara Sultan Syarif Kasim II Pekanbaru merupakan upaya menjaga wilayah itu kondusif.

“Polisi dan TNI menjaga agar jangan terjadi bentrok antara yang pro dan kontra. Kita menjaga wilayah ini kondusif, kita tentu ingin tidak ingin adanya gangguan keamanan dan ketertiban masyarakat,” kata Kepala Bidang Hubungan Masyarakat Polda Riau, Kombes Pol Sunarto di Pekanbaru, Ahad (26/8).

Sebelumnya pada Sabtu (25/8) siang hingga sore ada massa melakukan aksi penghadangan menolak kedatangan Neno Warisman di Bandara Pekanbaru yang rencananya melakukan acara deklarasi #2019GantiPresiden pada Ahad (26/8).

Massa tersebut kemudian tak terlihat lagi dan muncul massa lainnya mendesak aparat kepolisian untuk membiarkan Neno keluar dari bandara. Aksi tersebut berlangsung hingga kira-kira pukul 19.00 WIB dan massa pergi dari bandara lalu kembali lagi menjelang pukul 22.00 WIB.

Hingga akhirnya diketahui Neno Warisman sudah dipulangkan dan sebagian massa pun bubar. Sementara pihak kepolisian masih berjaga depan gerbang ruas jalan keluar bandara.

Kabid Humas Polda Riau membenarkan bahwa Neno telah dipulangkan usai melalui proses negosiasi. “Itu wilayah otoritas bandara, petugas bandara melakukan upaya negosiasi. Proses nego lama, dari sore sampai malam,” ungkapnya.

Terkait apakah pemulangan Neno tersebut karena acara deklarasi #2019GantiPresiden di Pekanbaru tidak diberi izin oleh kepolisian, Sunarto membantahnya. Menurut dia, awalnya pihak penyelenggara memberi tahu Kepolisian Resor Kota Pekanbaru.

Lalu Kepala Polresta Pekanbaru memberi saran agar tidak diberi izin. Kemudian di tengah perjalanan, ketua panitia mengundurkan diri dan mencabut surat izin keramaian.

“Posisi kita dalam hal tidak menerima surat,” kata Sunarto menambahkan. (rci/red)
