Sebuah penelitian di University of Cambridge membuktikan bahwa penyakit jantung dan depresi sama-sama memicu pelepasan senyawa radang di dalam darah. Radang atau inflamasi berhubungan dengan kadar kolesterol jahat yang lebih tinggi, yang juga merupakan faktor risiko penyakit jantung.
