Wagubri Ajak Masyarakat dan Pelajar Jadi Duta Pemberantasan Narkoba Di Meranti

MERANTI (pesisirnasional.com)- Wakil Gubernur Riau (Wagubri), H. Edy Natar Nasution mengikuti kegiatan Sosialisasi Pencegahan dan Pemberantasan Penyalahgunaan dan Peredaran Gelap Narkotika (P4GN) di Kabupaten Kepulauan Meranti. Kegiatan kali ini mengambil tempat di Ballroom Hotel Grand Indo Baru Selatpanjang Kepulauan Meranti, Selasa (3/12/2019).

Turut hadir bersama Wakil Gubernur saat itu, Wakil Bupati Meranti, Drs. H. Said Hasyim, Ketua DPRD Meranti, Jack Ardiansyah, Direktur Ketahanan Ekonomi dan Budaya Kemendagari, Tri Jaladara, Kabiro Kesra Sekda Provinsi Riau, Drs. H. Masrul Kasmi, M.Si, Perwakilan Kabinda Riau, Kepala Kesbangpolinmas Meranti, Drs. Asrizal Harahap, Forkopimda Meranti, Kapolres Meranti, AKPB. Taufik Lukman Nurhidayat, Danramil Selatpanjang, Danposal, sejumlah Kepala Dinas, kepala Bagian, Camat dilingkungan Pemkab Meranti, para peserta yang terdiri dari pelajar, mahasiswa, ormas dan komponen lainnya.

Tingginya kasus penyalahgunaan dan peredaran gelap Narkoba di Provinsi Riau tidak terkecuali di Kabupaten Kepulauan Meranti mendapat perhatian serius dari Wakil Gubernur Riau, H. Edy Natar Nasution. Untuk mengantisipasinya diperlukan gerakan yang masif dari semua pihak untuk memberikan pemahaman dan sosialisasi kepada masyarakat tentang bahaya Narkoba.

Seperti kegiatan yang ditaja oleh Badan Kesatuan Bangsa Provinsi Riau bekerjasama dengan Pemerintah Kabupaten Kepulauan Meranti kali ini.

Kepala Badan Kesbangpolinmas Provinsi Riau, H. Chairul Rizki dalam sambutannya mengatakan, kegiatan Sosialisasi Pencegahan dan Pemberantasan Penyalahgunaan dan Peredaran Gelap Narkotika kali ini merupakan salah satu upaya pemerintah untuk mengantisipasi penyalahgunaan dan peredaran gelap Narkotika yang sudah semakin marak di Provinsi Riau.

“Disini peserta diberikan pengetahuan tantang bahaya Narkoba yang dapat menimbulkan dampak buruk bagi masyarakat, diharapkan nantinya para peserta dapat menyampaikan kepada masyarakat lainnya agar tidak ada lagi pengguna Narkoba,” ungkap Rizki.

Dalam kesempatan itu, Wakil Gubernur Riau, H. Edy Natar menyampaikan melalui kegiatan ini diharapkan keseriusan semua pihak terkait khususnya masyarakat untuk pro aktif bersama-sama menjadi duta pemberantasan Narkoba dilingkungannya masing-masing. Saya menyambut baik kegiatan ini karena kegiatan ini sangat penting dalam upaya memberantas penyalahgunaan dan peredaran Narkoba di Provinsi Riau.

Orang nomor dua di Provinsi Riau itu menyampaikan, dirinya sangat prihatin terhadap maraknya perdaran Narkoba di Riau, tercatat Riau merupakan peringkat 5 terbesar sebagai daerah peredaran dan penyalahgunaan Narkoba di Indonesia. Parahnya bukan saja menjadi konsumen tapi juga sebagai produsen sehingga untuk itu perlu dilakukan penanganan yang serius dari semua pihak.

“Masalah ini harus ditanggapi dengan serius karena dapat menjerat bukan saja pelajar, tapi juga Pejabat, Polri, TNI, semua dapat tersandung Narkoba,” ucap Wagubri.

Apalagi menurut Wakil Gubernur, Kepulauan Meranti berada dijalur utama lalu lintas laut dunia (Selat Malaka,red). Sementara sumberdaya yang dimiliki untuk melakukan pengawasan sangat terbatas, hal ini menjadikan Meranti sebagai daerah potensial sebagai pintu masuk dan peredaran Narkoba bagi masyarakat.

“Meski memiliki keterbatasan tapi kita harus optimis untuk mengatasinya jika tidak maka sangat membahayakan,” tegasnya.

Dijelaskan Wagub, dari catatannya jumlah tersangka kasus Narkoba tahun 2018 lalu berjumlah 12.161 orang atau sekitar 80 persen penghuni LP berasal dari tersangka Narkoba.

Saat ini Pemerintah baru mengeluarkan 43 jenis obat dan zat yang masuk kategori Narkoba sementara dari hasil penelitian Dunia jenis Narkoba yang beredar sudah mencapai 664 Zat. Akibatnya sulit menjerat tersangka Narkoba jenis baru, tuturnya.

Hal ini dikatakan Wagub, tentunya sangat berbahaya bagi generasi muda, Ia pun meminta kepada pelajar dan generasi muda untuk lebih berhati-hati dalam bergaul jangan sampai terjebak menggunakan Narkoba sebab bukan saja akan menghancurkan diri sendiri tapi juga dapat mengecewakan orang tua dan orang disekitar kita, pungkas Wagubri H. Edy Nasution.

Hal senada juga disampaikan Wakil Bupati Kepulauan Meranti, Drs. H. Said Hasyim. Ia menjelaskan, dengan kondisi geografis Meranti yang sangat strategis juga memberikan dampak negatif bagi daerah terutama sangat berpotensi menjadi tempat masuknya barang haram Narkoba.

Salah satu penyebab maraknya peredaran Narkoba di Meranti menurut Wabup karena banyaknya pelabuhan tikus yang tak terawasi didukung oleh tingginya angka pengangguran dan kemiskinan yang mencapai angka 27 pesen.

“Dan kemiskinan sangat mempengaruhi maraknya peredaran Narkoba di Meranti selain itu juga karena minimnya lapangan kerja,” jelas orang nomor dua di Kota Sagu itu.

Wabup Meranti H. Said Hasyim sangat berharap kepada Pemerintah Provinsi dapat mendukung Meranti dalam mengentaskan kemiskinan, salah satunya melalui alokasi anggaran Provinsi Riau untuk Kabupaten termuda di Riau itu.

“Saat ini alokasi dana APBN masih belum memadai, begitu juga kebijakan yang mendukung Pembangunan Meranti sebagai daerah startegis, berbeda dengan Indonesia bagian timur, untuk itu kami berharap dukungan dari Pemerintah Provinsi Riau untuk turun bersama-sama melihat dan membantu membangun Infrastruktur di Meranti,” harapnya.

Selain dana pembangunan Infrastruktur untuk menekan angka kemiskinan, Wabup juga berharap dukungan penanggulangan Narkoba di Meranti, karena diakui Wabup penanggulangan Narkoba masih sebatas sosialisasi, dan belum ada tindakan lanjut akibat keterbatasan anggaran Pemda, ungkap Said Hasyim.

Sekedar informasi dalam kunjungan kerja Wagubri di Kepulauan Meranti, H. Edy Natar bersama Forkopimda juga menyempatkan diri untuk meninjau kondisi Lapas Kelas II Sepatpanjang. Disana Wagubri menemukan fakta bahwa sebagian besar penguhuni Lapas berasal dari kasus Narkoba. Selain itu kondisi Lapas Kelas II Selatpanjang dinilai tidak representatif lagi karena Over Kapasitas hingga 3 kali lipat.

Melihat hal itu Wagubri Edy Natar berharap kepada pihak terkait untuk segera melakukan pembenahan agar penghuni Lapas dapat diperlakukan lebih layak kedepan.(Andi)
