JAKARTA, PesisirNasional- Aktivis HAM, sekaligus Direktur Lokataru Foundation, Haris Azhar mundur sebagai saksi dari kubu Prabowo Subianto-Sandiaga Uno dalam sengketa Pilpres 2019 di Mahkamah Konstitusi.

Haris rencananya jadi salah satu saksi di persidangan, pada hari ini, Rabu 19 Juni 2019.

“Saya nyatakan tak bersedia untuk hadir sebagai saksi dalam Sidang Sengketa Pemlihan Presiden 2019 di Mahkamah Konstitusi hari ini pada tanggal 19 Juni 2019,” ujar Haris dalam keterangan tertulis di Jakarta.

Haris pun menjelaskan, alasannya menolak memberikan kesaksian pada sengketa Pemilu pada persidangan ketiga di MK ini, karena dua calon presiden baik dari capres nomor urut 01 Joko Widodo dan nomor 02 Prabowo Subianto memiliki catatan pelanggaran hak asasi manusia (HAM).

Dia selaku bagian dari masyarakat Indonesia menuntut akuntabilitas dan kinerja pengungkapan pelanggaran HAM yang terjadi di masa lampau.

“Memandang dua kubu kontestan Pilpres 2019, baik kubu Bapak Joko Widodo maupun kubu Bapak Prabowo Subianto, memiliki catatan pelanggaran HAM. Di mana Bapak Joko Widodo selama menjabat sebagai Presiden Republik Indonesia periode 2014-2019, tidak menjalankan kewajibannya untuk menuntaskan kasus-kasus pelanggaran HAM berat,” ujarnya.
