JAKARTA,PesisirNasional- Pebalap Ducati Andrea Dovizioso akhirnya dinyatakan sebagai pemenang MotoGP Qatar 2019 yang digelar dua pekan lalu setelah Dewan Banding MotoGP menolak tuntutan empat tim MotoGP terhadap winglet belakang Ducati, Selasa (26/3).
Dikutip dari situs resmi MotoGP, Dewan Banding MotoGP menolak pandangan empat tim Suzuki, Honda, Aprilia, dan KTM yang menganggap winglet belakang Ducati adalah alat aerodinamis yang ilegal.
“Setelah menggelar rapat dengar pendapat, keempat protes ditolak. Banding yang diajukan Tim Aprilia, Tim Suzuki, Tim Honda, dan Tim KTM ditolak. Hasil bayangan MotoGP Qatar 2019 dinyatakan sebagai hasil final,” demikian pernyataan resmi Dewan Banding MotoGP.
Suzuki, Honda, Aprilia, dan KTM langsung mengajukan protes ke pihak steward MotoGP usai balapan MotoGP Qatar di Sirkuit Internasional Losail. Mereka menganggap winglet belakang Ducati bukan untuk mendinginkan ban seperti klaim tim asal Italia itu, melainkan alat aerodinamis yang membuat laju sepeda motor Desmosedici semakin cepat.
Setelah ditolak steward MotoGP, Suzuki, Honda, Aprilia, dan KTM kemudian mengajukan banding ke Dewan Banding MotoGP. Usaha keempat tim itu pun sia-sia setelah banding mereka ditolak.
Dovizioso berhasil mengalahkan pebalap Repsol Honda Marc Marquez pada balapan MotoGP Qatar 2019 dengan keunggulan hanya 0,023 detik. Podium ketiga menjadi milik pebalap LCR Honda Cal Crutchlow.
Dua Pekan Berlalu, Dovizioso Dinyatakan Menang MotoGP Qatar
Dewan Banding MotoGP kemudian mempersilakan Suzuki, Honda, Aprilia, dan KTM untuk mengajukan banding ke Pengadilan Arbitrase Olahraga Internasional (CAS).
“Banding atas keputusan ini bisa diajukan ke CAS di Lausanne, Swiss, dalam lima hari setelah keputusan dibuat,” demikian pernyataan resmi Dewan Banding MotoGP.
Seri kedua musim 2019 akan berlangsung di MotoGP Argentina, Senin (1/4) dini hari WIB. Balapan MotoGP Argentina 2019 bisa disaksikan secara live streaming di CNNIndonesia.com.
