EMP Malacca Strait SA Gelar Pelatihan Basic K3/Fire Fighting & First Aid

MERANTI (pesisirnasional.com)- Sebagai wujud kepedulian pihak perusahaan terhadap putra daerah diwilayah operasional perusahaan, Energi Mega Persada (EMP) Malacca Strait SA melaksanakan Pelatihan Basic K3/Fire Fighting & First Aid pada tanggal 14 sampai dengan 15 September 2019 yang lalu di Kurau Recreation Room. Pelatihan ini diikuti sebanyak 34 peserta yang berasal dari 8 Desa pada 2 Kabupaten yang terletak di sekitar wilayah operasional Perusahaan EMP Malacca Strait SA.

Menariknya lagi, pelatihan ini dibagi dalam dua tahap, di mana tahap kedua nantinya akan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 12 sampak dengan 13 Oktober 2019 mendatang di tempat yang sama.

Dalam pelatihan tersebut peserta berasal dari Kampung Lalang dan Kampung Bunsur, Kecamatan Sungai Apit, Kabupaten Siak. Selain itu juga diikuti peserta dari Desa Bagan Melibur, Desa Mayang Sari, Desa Tanjung Kulim, Desa Persiapan Bumi Asri, Desa Lukit dan Kelurahan Teluk Belitung, Kecamatan Merbau, Kabupaten Kepulauan Meranti.

Acting Area Manager EMP Malacca Strait SA, Samuel Wisoyo dalam sambutannya menyampaikan, kegiatan ini merupakan wujud kepedulian EMP Malacca Strait SA kepada masyarakat sekitar khususnya kepada para pemuda di wilayah operasional perusahaan.

“Tujuan dari pelatihan ini adalah untuk memberikan keahlian dan pemahaman dasar yang lebih mendalam kepada para pemuda dalam bidang Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3), sistem penanggulangan kebakaran serta pertolongan pertama pada kecelakaan. Semoga pelatihan ini bermanfaat dan dapat ditularkan kepada pemuda lain di desa masing-masing peserta nantinya,” beber Samuel Wisoyo.

Mudah-mudahan kegiatan serupa untuk tahap kedua nantinya di bulan Oktober bisa berjalan lancar serta lebih baik lagi dari sekarang, sehingga dengan demikian diharapkan kedepan putra daerah diwilayah operasional perusahaan sudah memiliki pengetahuan dasar untuk melangkah lebih baik dalam berkerja maupun aktifitas umum lainnya dengan mengedepankan keselamatan dan pengetahun lebih sebagaimana mestinya, ungkap Acting Area Manager EMP Malacca Strait SA tersebut.

Dalam kesempatan itu, Sekretaris Kecamatan (Sekcam) Merbau, Aminurudin, SE dalam sambutannya mengucapkan ribuan terima kasih kepada EMP Malacca Strait SA yang telah bersedia berbagi ilmu dan pengetahuan kepada para pemuda diwilayah operasional kerjanya. Apa lagi ilmu K3 dan fire fighting ini sangat diperlukan kedepan karena Kecamatan Merbau termasuk daerah yang rawan kebakaran lahan.

Kita berharap pihak perusahaan kedepan bisa terus memberikan pendidikan yang lebih kepada putra daerah diwilayah operasional agar bisa bermanfaat banyak bagi kepentingan bersama demi kemajuan daerah dan bernilai timbal balik buat para pemuda untuk perusahaan ini, pungkas Sekcam yang juga merupakan Pj. Kades Pelantai saat ini.

Dari pantauan lapangan, peserta terlihat antusias mengikuti proses pelatihan tersebut karena selain teori didalam ruangan, mereka juga mendapat pendidikan secara langsung dengan melakukan praktek P3K dan penangangan kebakaran dilapangan.

Selain itu juga, usai kegiatan terlihat Acting Area Manager EMP Malacca Strait SA, Samuel Wisoyo menyerahkan 6 ribu masker kepada perwakilan peserta dari Desa Bagan Melibur, Mayang Sari, Tanjung Kulim, Lukit, desa persiapan Bumi Asri dan Kelurahan Teluk Belitung dengan harapan kepada seluruh peserta untuk membantu membagikan masker tersebut kepada masyarakat secara gratis dalam mengantisipasi penyakit akibat asap dari kebakaran hutan dan lahan yang terjadi di Provinsi Riau saat ini.(Andi)
