UPT-PKB Dumai Tolak KIR Truk Kelebihan Volume Tangki

DUMAI (pesisirnasional.com)- Kian maraknya aksi pemilik truk CPO yang menambah volume tangki yang menyebabkan kerusakan fatal pada jalan, membuat gerah aoarat terkait. Tak terkecuali UPT Pengujian Kendaraan Bermotor (PKB) Kota Dumai, yang menolak keras uji KIR moda angkutan daran tersebut.

Hal ini ditegaskan Kepala UPT-PKB Kota Dumai, Effendi saat disambangi di ruang kerjanya, Rabu (30/1). “Uji KIR untuk pertamakali, kita terima. Dengan sayart supir truk yang menambah volume itu membuat pernyataan resmi akan memotong tangkinya,” ujar Effendi.

Namun, jika kali kedua truk bersangkutan tetap tidak memotong kelebihan panjang tanki, spontan ditolak uji KIR-nya. “Banyak yang telah kita tolak, khususunya truk CPO lokal,” ungkapnya.

Lebih lanjut dikatakan Effendi, perihal kelebihan volume tangki truk CPO ini telah dikeluarkan kesepakatan sejumlah kementerian untuk menertibkannya. Apalagi, akibat kelebihan tersebut serbagai penyumbang terbesar dalam kerusakan jalan.

“Namun, kita menyambut positif tentang apa yang telah dilakukan sejumlah perusahaan di Kota Dumai yang dengan sukarela memotong kelebihan paniang truk CPO milik mereka,” bebernya.

Masih kata Effendi, perihal KIR ini pihaknya menargetkan PAD sebesar Rp1 miliar untuk tahun 2019. Beberapa item yang hendak ddiodngkrak pemasukannnya yakni dari uji emisi gas buangan.

“Selama ini PAD dari uji emisi gas kendaraan bermoto milik warga khususunay roda dua, masih rendah. Hal itu dikarenakan minimnya fasilitas kita dalam beroperasi di lapangan. Namun, tahun ini kita upayakan untuk ditingkatkan agar dapat mendongrak nilai PAD,” tutup Effendi.(zul)
