Dumai ( pesisirNasional.Com ) Pergantian tahun tinggal menghitung hari -1 H, persiap an menyambut pergantian tahun 2018 M menuju tahun 2019. Dilaksanakan siseluruh indonesia, senen (31/12/18).

Untuk menyambut tahun baru  ini beberapa persiapan dilakukan kapolresta dumai untuk mengantsipasi malam tahun baru tersebut seperti melakukan rapat kordinasi bersama elemen masyarakat dan organisasi di gedung  Gedung Citra Waspada Polres Kota Dumai.

Menurut Kapolres AKBP Restika PN pelaksanaan tahun baru ini diharapkan berjalan dengan lancar serta suasana keamanan yang kondusif tanpa ada gangguan, apabila ada yang melakukan tindakan melawan hukum maka polisi akan bertindak tegas

“Jika nanti ditemukan pelanggaran hukum seperti pesta seks, pesta narkoba, miras dan lain sebagainya, kami pihak kepolisian akan menindak tegas hal tersebut, jika perlu saya langsung terjun ke lapangan” tegasnya.

Menyikapi hal ini , Ahmad Maritulius yang juga pimpinan Media Riau pesisir mengingatkan Kapolres untuk selalu melakukan tindakan presuasif dalam menjalankan tugas keamanan dikota Dumai,

” kita minta Kapolres lakukan presuasif kepada masyarakat, jangan sampai mengurangi makna pergantian tahun ini menjadi cacat “.

Seperti hari-hari biasa kondisi Dumai sangat kondusif tampak pedagang-pedagang sudah mulai menjajakan dagangannya dipinggir jalan sukajadi seperti trompet, kembang api lazim setiap tahun.( red )
