DUMAI – Salah satu tugas dan wewenang dari wakil rakyat adalah menyerap, menghimpun, menampung dan menindaklanjuti aspirasi rakyat.

Untuk menindaklanjuti aspirasi rakyat tersebut, para legislator pun menggelar reses. Seperti yang dilakukan anggota DPRD Kota Dumai Fraksi PKS, Muhammad Al Ichwan Hadi.

Pria yang akrab disapa Iwan Jambul ini menggelar reses perdananya di Gang Merapi RT 16 Kelurahan Sukajadi, Kecamatan Dumai Kota, Kamis (12/12/2019) lalu.

Pada reses tersebut, sejumlah warga menyampaikan keluh kesahnya di daerah tempat tinggal mereka.

Salah satunya, Rudi yang mengusulkan perbaikan jalan yang telah rusak dan menginginkan agar jalan di RT mereka diberikan penerangan jalan.

“Termasuk normalisasi drainase yang kerap membuat rumah kami tergenang,” kata Rudi saat menyampaikan keluhannya.

“Sehingga kami pun berharap pak Iwan selaku DPRD Kota Dumai dapat membantu kami dengan merealisasikan usulan kami secepatnya,” harap RT dia.

Mendengar masukan dari masyarakat tersebut, Iwan berjanji akan membawa seluruh aspirasi yang ia serap tersebut ke lembaganya dan berjanji akan berupaya untuk merealisasikannya.

“Yang jelas ini akan kita bawa ke lembaga DPRD dan kita akan upayakan semaksimal mungkin untuk merealisasikannya demi masyarakat,” ujar salah satu anggota Komisi II DPRD Dumai tersebut.

Reses Kedua
Setelah reses perdana berhasil, keesokan harinya, Jumat (13/12/2019) Iwan pun melakukan hal serupa di rumah salah satu warga Jalan Belimbing, Gang Binjai I, RT 13 Kelurahan Rimba Sekampung, Kecamatan Dumai Kota.

Berdasarkan keterangan dari warga setempat, Rizal kepada sorotlensa.com usai reses tersebut memamaparkan jika keinginan warga setempat agar pemerintah maupun legislatif dapat memberbaiki akses jalan penghubung dari yang ada di lingkungan mereka.

Karena jembatan yang mereka lewati selama ini sudah tidak layak lagi. Namun hanya jalan itu satu-satunya untuk mengakses jalan keluar daerah itu.

“Kami takutkan nantinya di saat warga melewati jalan tersebut, secara tiba-tiba ambruk dan tentu saja ini berbahaya bagi warga kami,”ungkap dia.

“Untuk itu kami berharap pak Iwan bisa membantu merealisasikan keinginan kami dari sejak dulu,”tukasnya.

Di kesempatan berbeda, Iwan pun membenarkan perihal itu kepada media ini.

Warga tempatan berharap usulan pembangunan jembatan dari tahun-tahun sebelumnya bisa terealisasi.

“Kasihan juga melihat mereka, apalagi kami tadi sempat memantau langsung kondisi jembatan yang sudah mulai miring dan sedikit bergelombang,”timpal politisi PKS dari dapil I Kecamatan Dumai Kota singkat.
