DUMAI, PESISIRNASIONAL- Badan Pendapatan Daerah (Bapenda) Kota Dumai sedang giat mensosialisasikan peraturan walikota (Perwako) Nomor 7 Tahun 2019 tentang Pendaftaran Wajib Pajak dan Pengukuhan Pengusaha Kena Pajak Bagi Orang Pribadi atau Badan Yang Melakukan Pekerjaan, Usaha, dan/atau Kegiatan di Kota Dumai.

Hal tersebut guna mengoptimalkan Penerimaan Dana Bagi Hasil (DBH) serta memberikan pemahaman bagi perusahaan-perusahaan yang ada di kota Dumai, khsususnya bagi perusahaan berstatus cabang.

Walikota Dumai, Zulkifli AS menyampaikan, melalui Perwako tersebut, dapat mengoptimalkan penerimaan Dana Bagi Hasil (DBH) Pajak di Kota Dumai yang diterima melalui pemerintah pusat yang dipungut oleh Kantor Pelayanan Pajak (KPP) Pratama.

“Diharapkan semua perusahaan membayarkan pajaknya di daerah tempat perusahaan melakukan usahanya,” ujar Walikota yang akrab disapa Zul AS.

Dalam Perwako yang diterima redaksi tersebut, beberapa poin yang menjadi pertimbangan diantaranya, upaya meningkatkan pendapatan daerah dari penerimaan Bagi Hasil Pajak Penghasilan setiap orang pribadi atau badan yang melakukan usaha dan/atau pekerjaan di Kota Dumai wajib mendaftarkan diri sebagai Wajib Pajak.

Kemudian, untuk melaksanakan pendaftaran Wajib Pajak, perlu adanya pengaturan secara komprehensif bagi orang pribadi atau badan yang memperoleh penghasilan di Kota Dumai.

Dalam menertibkan perusahaan cabang yang ada di Kota Dumai, di Perwako tersebut tertuang dalam Bab III tentang NPWP, NPWP Cabang dan PKP dalam Pasal 3 ayat 2, yaitu Orang pribadi atau badan yang memiliki usaha atau kegiatan yang didirikan atau bertempat kedudukan di daerah lain namun memiliki 1 (satu) atau lebih tempat usaha atau kegiatan di daerah wajib memiliki NPWP Cabang yang terdaftar di KPP Pratama.

Tak hanya itu, pemenang tender pelaksanaan pengadaan barang/jasa di daerah, turut diwajibkan memiliki NPWP dan/atau NPWP Cabang yang terdaftar di KPP Pratama.

Dengan Perwako ini, perusahaan-perusahaan cabang yang tersebar di beberapa daerah di Kota Dumai dapat menjadi objek pajak serta menghasilkan pemasukan PAD bagi daerah kota Dumai. (adv/hms)
