Sosok Jokowi Bagi Erick Thohir

JAKARTA, Pesisirnasional.com- Ketua Tim Kampanye Nasional (TKN) Joko Widodo-Ma’ruf Amin, Erick Thohir menjelaskan alasannya menyetujui tawaran menjadi ketua TKN. Menurut dia, yang ia pilih merupakan hal yang memang ia inginkan karena menilai Joko Widodo (Jokowi) sebagai sosok yang tulus membangun Indonesia.

Erick adalah seorang pengusaha yang memiliki perusahaan media dan olah raga. Ia mengatakan, tidak menjalankan usaha lainnya selain dua usaha tersebut karena emang hal tersebutlah yang merupakan minatnya selama ini. Demikian pula pilihannya menjadi Ketua TKN Jokowi-Ma’ruf.

“Nah pertama juga pada saat ini kan sebuah pilihan, tapi apa yang Saya dapat lihat dari pak Joko Widodo sendiri, kekuatan beliau sebagai hati nuraninya untuk rakyat dan untuk membangun Indonesia. Itu jadi pilihan Saya,” kata Erick, usai pengumuman resmi yang dilakukan Jokowi di Posko Cemara, Menteng, Jakarta Pusat, Jumat (7/9).

Erick menjelaskan, tugasnya sebagai Ketua TKN adalah sebagai profesional. Ia pun mengatakan, meskipun selama ini fokus menjadi Ketua Inasgoc, kegiatannya yang lain juga tetap berjalan. Oleh karena itu, ia menerima amanat yang diberikan oleh TKN Jokowi-Ma’ruf ini.

“Nah ini Saya lihat ini sebuah tantangan besar, tapi ini juga sebuah amanah yang harus memang kita laksanakan sesuai visi misi dan tentu track record yang pernah ada di Pak Joko Widodo selama ini,” kata dia.

Sementara itu, Jokowi mengatakan, sosok Erick Thohir adalah pemimpin yang selama ini terbukti kemampuannya. Terakhir, ia menjadi Ketua Inasgoc dan ajang Asian Games 2018 beberapa hari lalu berhasil menuai banyak pujian baik dari nasional atau internasional.

“Saya kira beberapa saudara semuanya sudah tahu beliau adalah pengusaha sukses, memiliki media, memiliki klub sepak bola, memiliki klub basket, dan memiliki yang lain-lainnya. Tapi yang jelas dalam setiap hal yang beliau pimpin itu selalu mendapatkan kesuksesan,” kata Jokowi menegaskan.

Jokowi mengungkapkan ia sengaja memilih sosok di luar politik agar ada kombinasi di dalam tim suksesnya. Menurutnya, hal yang penting adalah sosok tersebut ahli dalam manajemen dan mengelola tim sukses dengan baik.

“Ini bukan urusan berpolitik, ini urusan manajemen mengelola kampanye ini sehingga bisa berjalan dengan baik. Kombinasi politik kan sudah banyak sekali, sekjen kan dari politk kan. Kurang apa,” kata dia. (rci/red)
