SLEMAN,PesisirNasional- Polisi mengungkap pabrik uang palsu (upal) di sebuah rumah kontrakan di Desa Sidoluhur, Kecamatan Godean, Kabupaten Sleman, DI Yogyakarta (DIY). Baru sebulan beroperasi, nilai produksi uang rupiah palsu mencapai 4,6 miliar.
Pabrik upal ini diotaki oleh pria inisal HS (39), seorang oknum kepala dusun di wilayah Pati, Jawa Tengah. Dia dibantu IK (36) warga Pati yang berlatar belakang guru honorer (berperan sebagai pengedar), serta EY (61) dan NY (67) keduanya warga Magelang (membantu produksi).
“Empat tersangka diamankan terkait tindak pidana produksi uang palsu di sebuah rumah kontrakan di Godean. Barang bukti uang palsu nilainya sekitar 4,6 miliar,” kata Kabid Humas Polda DIY, AKBP Yuliyanto saat jumpa pers di Mapolsek Godean, Selasa (19/3/2019).
“Tersangka HS sehari-hari bekerja sebagai kepala dusun di Pati. Dia otaknya, dari pengakuannya dia otodidak, belajar dari internet,” sambung Yuliyanto.
Pengungkapan kasus ini berawal dari laporan seorang pedagang angkringan di Pasar Godean yang menerima uang pembayaran dari tersangka, IK. Pedagang itu curiga uang pembayaran bukan uang asli alias upal.
Polisi yang menerima laporan langsung melakukan penyelidikan dan berhasil menemukan rumah kontrakan yang ternyata dijadikan pabrik upal oleh para tersangka, Senin (18/3) siang.

Dari rumah kontrakan itu polisi mengamankan 13 lembar pecahan uang kertas 10.000, 6 lembar 5.000, 168 lembar 100.000, 7 lembar 50.000, 3.165 lembar pecahan 100.000 belum dipotong, dua meja sablon, printer, laptop, mesin laminating, tinta, lem, minyak, selotip, 6 rim kertas HVS siap cetak upal senilai 3 miliar, screen sablon dan marter copy.
“Awalnya tersangka IK belanja di salah satu warung angkringan di Pasar Godean, belanja di situ lima kali. Uang yang dipakai belanja itu belakangan diketahui palsu, hasil produksi di Pati,” jelas Yuliyanto.
“Kalau di sekitar Godean, baru transaksi di Pasar Godean itu,” lanjutnya.

Sebelum di Sleman, para tersangka memang telah berproduksi di Pati dan Magelang.
Kapolsek Godean, Kompol Herry Suryanto menambahkan, hasil pemeriksaan awal para tersangka mengaku telah mengedarkan upal di wilayah Lampung dan Mojokerto.

“Dijual ke Lampung 280 juta, Mojokerto 70 juta, itu saat produksi di Pati, penjualannya perbandingan 1 uang asli 5 uang palsu. Tapi ini masih didalami karena itu baru sebatas keterangannya saja,” ungkapnya.
Sementara itu, tersangka HS berdalih nekat memproduksi upal karena terlilit utang. Namun dia tidak menjelaskan secara detail upal produksinya di Sleman ini bakal diedarkan di wilayah mana saja.
“Saya punya utang,” akunya singkat.
Oleh polisi, para tersangka dijerat Pasal 36 ayat (2), ayat (3) jo Pasal 26 ayat (2), ayat (3) UU 7/2011 serta Pasal 244 KUHP dan Pasal 245 KUHP subsider Pasal 55 KUHP jo Pasal 56 KUHP dengan ancaman 15 tahun penjara.
