JAKARTA, PesisirNasional- Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) mengatakan tersangka kasus korupsi jual beli jabatan di Kementerian Agama (Kemenag), Romahurmuziy, tidak mungkin bekerja sendirian. Oleh sebab itu, KPK bakal memperkaya penyelidikan terhadap pihak lain termasuk Menteri Agama Lukman Hakim Saifuddin.
“Tentang keterlibatan pihak lain dalam kasus ini, pada kesempatan ini KPK masih berupaya untuk memperkaya semua informasi yang berhubungan dengan kasus ini,” ujar Wakil Ketua KPK Laode Muhammad Syarif menjawab pertanyaan wartawan tentang keterlibatan Lukman dalam kasus ini saat konferensi pers di di Jakarta, Sabtu (16/3).
“Karena kita tahu persis bahwa saudara RMY itu kan tidak memiliki kewenangan untuk mengurus secara langsung yang berhubungan dengan itu jabatan-jabatan tertentu. Oleh karena itu tidak mungkin dikerjakan hanya sendiri,” kata Laode lagi.
Romahurmuziy alias Romi merupakan Ketua Umum Partai Persatuan Pembangunan (PPP) sejak 2014. Sebelum itu Romi adalah anggota DPR RI periode 2009 – 2014.
KPK menangkap Romi pada Jumat (15/3) di Kantor Wilayah (Kanwil) Kementerian Agama Provinsi Jawa Timur, di Sidoarjo pukul 09.30 WIB. KPK sudah mengumumkan mendapat barang bukti uang Rp156,75 juta.
Romi dan sejumlah tersangka lainnya akhirnya tiba di Gedung Merah Putih KPK, Kuningan Jakarta Selatan sekitar pukul 20.00 WIB.
KPK menyimpulkan Romi tersangka pada kasus korupsi seleksi jabatan Kemenag 2018 – 2019. Romi disangkakan Pasal 12 ayat a atau b jo Pasal 11 UU Pemberantasan Tindak Pidana Korupsi. (cnnindonesia/red)
