DUMAI, Tribunriau- Sekian tahun lalu lalang di jalanan yang rusak, kini akhirnya Gg. Lestari yang berada di Jalan Nelayan Darat, RT. 11, Kelurahan Pangkalan Sesai, Kota Dumai akhirnya menikmati fasilitas jalan yang bagus.

Dulunya, ketika air pasang ataupun hujan, jalan tersebut kerap tak terlewati, meskipun setengah jalan tersebut sudah dicor atau semenisasi.

Demikian dikatakan salah seorang warga jalan Nelayan Darat, Ery (34) yang sering melintas di Gg. Lestari Jalan Nelayan Darat itu.

“Alhamdulillah sekarang jalannya sudah bagus, layak dilalui sepeda motor, mudah-mudahan tak banjir lagi kalau hujan atau air pasang,” ujar Ery kepada wartawan, Senin (19/8/2019).

Tak hanya itu, lanjut Ery, warga sekitar juga merasa nyaman dengan pembangunan tersebut.

Di tempat terpisah, Ketua RT 11 Kelurahan Pangkalan Sesai, Kecamatan Dumai Barat, Indrawan AMd kepada awak media, Senin (19/8/2019) mengucapkan banyak terima kasih kepada pihak yang sudah memperhatikan keluhan warganya, terutama masalah jalan tersebut.

Dirinya juga menjelaskan bahwa pekerjaan itu dikerjakan oleh warga tempatan, dan dikerjakan dengan waktu sebelum 15 hari sudah selesai.

“Kita berdayakan warga tempatan, lama kerjanya juga terbilang cepat, dengan batas waktu 15 hari kerja dan belum 15 hari kita kerjakan, pekerjaan sudah selesai,” ujar Indrawan.

Selain itu, lanjut Indrawan, terkait masalah pemberitaan tentang tidak dicantumkannya nominal anggaran dan pelaksana kerja, dirinya merasa tidak mengetahui hal itu dan hanya mencontoh papan plank milik kelurahan lainnya yang juga saat ini sedang dalam pembangunan.

“Kita cuma nyontoh punya kawan di kelurahan lain, tapi sekarang ini sudah kita cantumkan (sudah diperbaiki, red),” pungkasnya. (isk)
