PESISIR NASIONAL.COM, DUMAI- Kandidat walikota Dumai 2020 Ahmad Maritulius secara perlahan terus menjalin komunikasi politiknya kepada sejumlah tokoh Kota Dumai. Pertemuan kembali dijalin silaturahmi dengan salah satu tokoh politik kota Dumai, Samsul Bahari pada Selasa (30/7).
Pertemuan kedua tokoh kota Dumai tersebut terkesan membawa makna baru bagi percaturan politik Dumai kedepan.
Meskipun hanya membahas hal ringan, layaknya seorang sahabat dengan sahabat, namun karena para tokoh Dumai tersebut selalu berperan aktif berpartisipasi memberikan kontribusi yang terbaik untuk kota Dumai, Tentunya pertemuan kedua tokoh tersebut juga tidak terlepas dari sorotan publik terutama bagi para penggiat politik kota Dumai itu sendiri.
Sebagai mana diketahui, Lius adalah salah seorang pendiri kota Dumai dari Kota Administratif menjadi kota madya Dumai dan diresmikan pada tanggal 20 April tahun 1997 yang lalu, dan sampai hari ini masih tertera sejumlah nama tokoh masyarakat Dumai di tugu reformasi yang terletak di area taman bukit gelanggang Dumai. Salah satu nama nama tersebut, ada nama Ahmad maritulius SE sebagai penggagas melahirkan kota Dumai tersebut.
Diketahui bersama bahwa eksestensi para tokoh reformasi Dumai masih eksis di kota Dumai, kebetulan para pendiri kota Dumai mempercayakan kepada bang Lius sebagai ketua organisasi tersebut,komite reformasi masyarakat Dumai (KRMD).
Begitu juga dengan Samsul Bahri, beliau adalah salah seorang tokoh politik senior di kota Dumai, beliau pernah nmenjabat sebagai ketua DPC P3 kota Dumai sampai saat sekarang.
Dikutip dari Bisnis.com , Samsul Bahri juga pernah menjadi anggota DPRD kota Dumai selama dua periode, dan saat pilkada Walikota Dumai tahun 2015 yang telah lalu, beliau dipercaya menjadi ketua Tim pemenangan Pasangan calon (Paslon) Walikota dan Wakil Walikota Dumai, Zul As- Eko Suharjo, dan kebetulan mereka terpilih menjadi Walikota dan Wakil Walikota Dumai 2016 – 2021 ( Sampai saat sekarang ).
Melihat dari rekam jejak kedua tokoh kota Dumai tersebut tentulah menjadi perhatian bagi masyarakat Dumai, karena mereka itu selama ini telah teruji melahirkan gerakan untuk kemajuan kota Dumai itu sendiri.
Ditempat terpisah, salah seorang teman Lius, sebut saja Kurnia, membenarkan ada pertemuan antara Lius dan Samsul Bahri disalah satu tempat di kota Dumai, mereka membahas tentang kota Dumai kedepan. Ujar Kurnia singkat.

Menurut informasi yang dapat dipercaya, bahwa kegiatan silaturahmi antar kedua orang tokoh sentral kota Dumai tersebut di salah satu tempat, hari selasa pagi (30/07) merupakan pertemuan antara kedua teman dalam rangka silaturahmi, namun dalam acara tersebut tidak terlepas dari kondisi politik hari ini.
