DUMAI—Dalam rangka safari ramadhan dan sekaligus meningkatkan tali silahturahmi dengan warga setempat, Wakil Walikota Dumai, Eko Suharjo, SE bersama rombongan menuju Masjid Al Furqon, Kelurahan Bukit Timah, Senin Malam (13/05). Setibanya di masjid Al Furqon, Wawako bersama rombongan disambut hangat oleh warga setempat.
Setelah menunaikan Sholat Isya dan Sholat Tarawih, Wawako pun menyerahkan bantuan pembangunan Masjid Al Furqon sebesar Rp.20 Juta. “ Mudah-mudahan bantuan ini bisa dipergunakan sebaik mungkin,” sebut wawako di depan jemaah masjid Al Furqon.
Dalam kata sambutannya, Wawako menyatakan selama dalam menjalankan pemerintahan ini, ia terbuka dengan siapa pun. “ Dan kami tidak alergi dengan kritik. Dengan kritik membuat kami semangat,” jelasnya.
Oleh karena itu, lanjutnya, ia berharap kepada semua pihak untuk terbuka dengannya. “ Dengan keterbukaan, semua masalah bisa terpecahkan. Dari pada bicara dibelakang, lebih baik bicara didepan orangnya langsung. Ini jelas tidak menimbulkan fitnah dikemudian hari,” ujarnya.
Beliau pun menyatakan selama kepemimpinannya bersama Bapak Walikota Dumai, H Zulkifli As, terus berupaya melakukan yang terbaik bagi masyarakat Kota Dumai. “ Dan Kami terus berupaya melakukan pembangunan ini dengan secara adil. Mohon doakan kami terus menjadi orang yang bermanfaat bagi orang banyak,” pintanya lagi.
Sementara itu, Ustad Rio dalam ceramahnya mengatakan dalam hidup ini haruslah terus bersyukur dan harus saling berbagi. “ Karena dengan saling berbagi, membuat kita akan menjadi kaya harta dan kaya hati. Dan semakin kita sering berbagi kepada masyarakat yang membutuhkan, penyakit yang ada di dalam hati kita semakin terkikis,” sebutnya.
